YES TOGETHER WITH YOU I CAN BE A MEDICAL DOCTOR

Hello my dear brother and sisters in Christ Jesus I Salute you all in Jesus Name. You are welcome to my "BLOG" it is my great pleasure and sincere gratitude for you to take you precious time to visit my page.

However, by way of introduction, I am Jesse D. Davis, a Liberian and an prospective Medical student of the Kenya Medical Training College. I am a Christian, age 27 and I speak English as my first language.

I have the desire for becoming a Medical doctors for the following reasons:

a). I have the passion of being a Medical specialist. This is because of my love for Human Biology and Chemistry due to my natural understanding of the course therefore I believe it is my calling from God.

b). Being a Christian, I want to be a Healer, and I want to do this through the Medical field, I do believe that being a doctor, before I administer any drugs to my patience I must dedicate that drugs to God so that he can perform his own Work, because he is Jehovah RifeKa ( the Lord is a healer).

c). Looking at my society today as an African, we need to make the sacrifice to immensely serve our people through the health sector, because the health services in Africa is very poor. I have watch people died from common medical problems like malaria, diarrhea, Kidney failure, and the most important women died in child birth because no good attention and other related sickness. Especially the country that I hail from: Liberia, this war turned country, have one of the Poor health sector in the world, with More than 3 millions population with a political subdivision of 15 counties, with almost 2/3 of the population living in Monrovia, the capital city. The country has less than 100 Trained medical specialist not including skill trained nurses and related medical officers which are not enough for such of population. And beside that, the country has no program for training Medical specialists in very fields of Medical discipline. Of the numbers of Medical specialists they have, 85 percent are in their very old age at least 55years old, this is bad. The Health future of the country is at stick. And Majority of the country University students are not taking this serious, due to one reason the country One and Only university ( university of Liberia) do not have the facilities at present to trained these students, so base on this, they are taking other discipline, like business, engineering, journalism, and name them…

In this view, I have that desire that I can make a difference in such a society if I have the opportunity to be trained as a Medical specialist. I believe I can give back to the society as a Medical specialist. These are some means by which I can back to the society:

1.       I can establish various health centers in the country to serve the people not for profit making in every county with in the 15 political subdivision of the country.

2.       Beside my country, I will be willing to work with any health organization in any African country for the purpose of health delivery service to the society.

3.       To take part in many research work concerning the health improvement in the society.

Because of these, I want to have my medical concentration in the area of Anatomical and Clinical Pathology, with this I believe that I will be able to serve the African society massive due to their most frequently occurrences of Medical Cases.

A man created a box of pencil and said: I am preparing you to send you in the world my dear “PENCIL” I am expecting you to do well, but the only way you will do well and do great things as you wish, you must be held in someone’s (artist) hand. Be patience as that great someone will use you, after that his work will be seen by others and praises of what you have done will be accredited to him as the brain behind the work you have done…
